Pazinski Krov is a waterfall on the Pazinčica river, in a steep limestone canyon a short distance upstream of Pazin, and it is one of the few waterfalls in the interior of Istria. The river here drops over a tufa barrier into a pool, in a wooded canyon that is a quieter counterpart to the better-known Pazin chasm downstream.

The waterfall is part of the same karst system that produces the Pazinska jama, the great gorge below Pazin town, and the canyon around it holds a series of smaller drops, old mill sites and a walking path that follows the river. The area is a local walking spot rather than a major sight, which is most of its appeal for visitors who want a quieter piece of Istrian nature.

Pazinski Krov is reached on foot from the edge of Pazin or from the nearby villages, along a marked path that follows the river through the canyon. The walk is short and largely flat, making it one of the easier nature stops in central Istria.

For photographers, the waterfall in its wooded canyon reads best after rain, when the Pazinčica carries more water, and a neutral-density filter smooths the fall. Combine it with the Pazin chasm and the castle museum in town for a proper central Istria day.
