Piramida Disco Pula sits in Istria, a part of Croatia with its own character, and the abandoned place is the reason most people stop.

These buildings decay fast and floors give way. Sturdy boots, a torch and a charged phone are the minimum, and treat the place as a memorial, not a playground.

Best time to visit

Piramida Disco Pula is at its best from May to October. June and September are the sweet spot, warm water, long days, and thinner crowds than high July and August. Winter shows a quieter, cheaper and surprisingly handsome country, especially inland and in the cities.
