Pomer
Get there early, claim a spot, and the rest of the day is easy. Pomer, popular beach in Istria, Croatia.
Pomer draws the crowds for good reason. Get there early, claim a spot, and the rest of the day is easy.
Worth knowing
Pomer stands in Istria, one of the six regions that make up the Croatia most visitors fall for. From the Adriatic shore to the karst mountains and the quiet inland valleys, this part of the country gives you something worth the detour.
Midday in July is the busy, hot, expensive hour. Aim for before 9 or after 5, and pack water shoes for the pebbles.
Practical info

Timing your trip
Aim for May to October at Pomer, and within that, June and September for warm water without the peak crowds. High summer means heat and queues; winter, by contrast, is quiet, cheap and surprisingly handsome inland.
