Prelog

A 13th century market town on the Drava in Međimurje, for centuries a centre of the local grain and craft trade.

Prelog sits in Central Croatia, a part of Croatia with its own character, and the city & town is the reason most people stop.

Mornings are quieter and cooler. Most old towns wake up slowly, so an early coffee is worth the effort.

Timing your trip

Plan Prelog for May to October, with June and September the quietest warm months. July and August bring the crowds and the heat; winter is cheaper and handsomer than people expect, especially in the inland cities.
