Photograph by John respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what data we collect and why.

What we collect

• Reading preferences. If you enable the dyslexia-friendly reading mode, your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so it remembers your preference next visit. This never leaves your device.
• Map embeds. Location pages show an OpenStreetMap map. Opening that map is a direct connection to OpenStreetMap’s servers, governed by their privacy policy.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell or share personal data.

Advertising

Some pages display advertising. Ad partners may use cookies as described in their own policies. We aim to keep ads non-intrusive.

Your choices

You can clear your reading preference anytime by clearing your browser’s local storage, or by toggling the Read button off.
